Dreamweaver Tutorial

This tutorial shows you how to create a basic web site with some of Dreamweaver's most useful and powerful features. The tutorial explains how to insert images, format text with styles, create layers and animate them with a timeline, divide a page into frames, define links, and attach behaviors.

If you don't have a printed version of Using Dreamweaver, you may find it easier to follow the tutorial if you print the pages from your browser.

Note: Because this tutorial takes advantage of some the latest Dynamic HTML features (DHTML), the files you create only work properly in 4.0 or later browsers. To see a completed version of the web site you create in this tutorial, open the folder Completed Files inside the Tutorial Folder and then open the file SiteFrameSet.htm.

To begin the tutorial, proceed to Format text and create a style.
